Job Summary
CTA E Construction Teacher with responsibility to provide quality instruction and implement the curriculum for assigned students in a safe classroom, develop lesson plans, deliver instruction aligned to state guidelines, and use data-driven assessments to monitor progress. The role requires maintaining professional standards, communicating with parents and students about performance and improvement plans, sustaining accurate records, and participating in ongoing professional development. Must hold GaPSC Construction certification (Construction specialization) and meet the listed licensure/experience requirements; 20% sitting, 40% walking, 40% standing with related physical requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Must hold valid GaPSC Construction certification from GaPSC 505-2-.90; Area of Specialization: Construction AND meet any one of the five options in GaPSC Rule 505-2-.08 as outlined under CAREER, TECHNICAL AND AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION (3)(e)
- At least 2 years of occupational experience
- Criminal Background Check
- Maintains all licenses and certifications
