Job Summary
CT/X-ray Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic x-ray and CT exams, communicating critically with patients and care teams, supervising radiography students, and ensuring safe, high-quality imaging. Duties include preparing patients, verifying demographics, operating RIS/PACS and related systems, evaluating image quality, administering intravenous contrast with sterile technique, and adhering to radiation safety regulations. Requires competency with CT and fixed/portable x-ray equipment, and professional ARRT/CT certification and state licensure, with BLS and mandatory reporter training. Evening shift (1:00 PM–9:30 PM), 40 hours/week; includes opportunities for bonuses and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT or CT certificate
- Iowa Department of Public Health State Permit to Practice Diagnostic Radiography
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse/Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training
- Education sufficient to obtain required licensure
