Job Summary
This multi-modality position requires performing computed tomography (CT) and general radiographic imaging with limited supervision to ensure high-quality diagnostic images and accurate patient documentation. Responsibilities include obtaining relevant patient histories, preparing necessary information for medical records, coordinating equipment service and preventive maintenance, and maintaining imaging supplies inventory. Candidates must have an associates degree, active Kentucky licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by ARRT
- Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
- ARRT or NMTCB with CT certification
- Computed Tomography (CT) registry required
- BLS required
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience as a Rad Tech in diagnostic radiology preferred
- Prior experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred
Additional Requirements
- Registry eligible candidates are required to obtain CT certification within one year of employment
