CT XR Technologist

Provides computed tomography imaging in the radiology department in alignment with scope and standards, collaborating with radiologists and referring physicians. Reviews patient history, orders, and lab results; educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Analyzes imaging results, identifies quality concerns, and prepares/administers contrast media as appropriate. Monitors patient condition and responds to changes; prepares equipment and supplies; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Performs POCT and Moderate Complexity Laboratory Testing per procedures; maintains testing proficiency and quality control; analyzes results and addresses imaging quality issues, including repositioning and repeating procedures. Conducts EKG procedures and routine patient care tasks as required. Works with critical thinking and decsive judgement in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
