Job Summary
Review patient history, physician orders, and schedules; educate patients on procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation. Prepare and administer contrast media or medications when ordered, while continuously monitoring patient condition and reporting status changes. Select appropriate exposure factors, position patients, and perform CT imaging procedures. Analyze results, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and repeat procedures to resolve image quality issues. Enter and transmit scan results to the appropriate departments.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Weekend Nights
- Full Time
- 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
- LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles
- 13 week assignments available
