Job Summary
Conduct CT and XR imaging procedures in a single-technologist setting at the Freestanding Emergency Room. Review patient history, initiate scans based on physician orders, and administer contrast media while monitoring patient condition. Prioritize procedural education to ensure cooperation and report changes in patient status. Implement techniques to yield image clarity, perform quality control, and execute 3-D post processing while entering and transmitting results. Maintain BLS certification and complete CT registry within 12 months. Full-time role with 72 hours per pay period, $50/hour plus travel stipend, and 13-week assignments available for local residents within 75 miles.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- One year of experience
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles
- 13 week assignments available - extension options
