Job Summary
Review patient history and initiate Computed Tomography images based on physician orders, prioritizing procedural education to ensure cooperation. Safely administer contrast media while monitoring patient condition and report changes as appropriate. Implement techniques to yield image clarity, perform quality control, and execute 3-D post processing while transmitting and reporting scan results. This full-time weekend role includes a travel package/stipend and offers a 13-week assignment duration. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- One year of experience
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
