Job Summary
Conduct top-of-scope CT imaging and radiologic procedures in the UCHealth Powers ED, reviewing patient history, initiating scans based on physician orders, and administering contrast media while monitoring patient condition. Prioritize procedural patient education, report changes in patient status, and implement techniques to ensure image clarity and equipment functionality per AART best practices. May perform 3-D post processing and transmit scan results. Requires ARRT CT registration and BLS certification. Full-time nights shift with a 3-year incentive bonus, merit increases, and comprehensive benefits including 403(b) matching and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure if required by law
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
