Job Summary
Conduct computerized tomographic procedures for disease and injury diagnosis, including biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations, or fiducial placement. Prepare and position patients while selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice, observe patients during procedures, and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates as warranted, while strictly following radiation safety procedures and maintaining constant alertness. Perform other duties as assigned. This role is part of the Radiology department at MO-SSM Health St. Clare Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-T Radiation Therapy - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- ARRT-CT Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
