Job Summary
CT Technologist delivers safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. Responsibilities include performing CT procedures per department guidelines, operating imaging equipment, maintaining ALARA standards, administering contrast per protocol (venipuncture as needed), obtaining clinical history and confirming orders with two identifiers, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort and safety, documenting studies in RIS/PACS, monitoring and responding to emergencies, restocking and maintaining equipment, and organizing daily workflows with technologists to support department operations at Columbia County Medical Center Hospital. This role is with Wellstar and affiliated sites in Georgia, with opportunities tied to ongoing education and career progression.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (American Heart Association)
