Job Summary
CT Technologist performs CT procedures per department guidelines, delivers high‐quality diagnostic imaging, maintains patient safety and comfort, and collaborates with the care team. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment safely, adjusting techniques to meet diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA), preparing and positioning patients, administering contrast per protocol, ensuring accurate documentation in RIS/PACS, verifying orders and patient identifiers, maintaining infection control and equipment, and supporting department workflow. Requires ARRT radiography and CT certifications, BLS, and at least 1 year radiology experience; High School Diploma or equivalent plus accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT-R (Radiography)
- ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
