Job Summary
CT Technologist responsible for performing CT procedures in accordance with department guidelines, delivering high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety. The role involves preparing and positioning patients, administering contrast per protocol, ensuring accurate patient identifiers, operating imaging equipment safely, documenting studies in RIS/PACS, monitoring patient condition, assisting with emergencies, and collaborating with technologists/modalities to optimize department flow. Requires independent operation, ALARA dose management, infection control, patient communication (AIDET), and adherence to regulatory requirements. This is a full-time night-shift role at Spalding Medical Center with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for education and career progression through Wellstar's programs.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (American Heart Association)
