Job Summary
CT Technologist performs CT procedures per department guidelines to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment safely, applying ALARA principles, obtaining clinical history, verifying patient identifiers, administering contrast per protocol, positioning patients, reviewing images for diagnostic quality, documenting findings in RIS/PACS, and supporting department workflow. Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS; at least 1 year of radiology experience. Full-time role at Cobb Hospital (Wellstar) with a Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 7:30a–6p schedule; benefits include PTO, mental health support, and access to education/growth opportunities; location Penney Farms, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography); BLS (American Heart Association)
