Job Summary
CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high‐quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. Responsibilities include performing CT procedures per department guidelines, operating imaging equipment safely, adjusting techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA), cleaning and disinfecting rooms/equipment, obtaining clinical history and verifying orders with two patient identifiers, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast per protocol, positioning patients and applying markers and shielding, reviewing images for diagnostic acceptability, documenting in RIS/PACS, monitoring patient condition and responding to emergencies, and assisting with department workflow and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography; BLS (Basic Life Support)
