Job Summary
CT Technologist in Wellstar Cobb (Austell, GA) working night shifts with 7:00pm–7:30am coverage Wednesday–Friday; perform a wide range of CT and radiology procedures, optimize technique to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality, verify orders and patient history, prepare and position patients, administer contrast per policy, ensure patient identification and safety, operate CT equipment and CT injector, document and communicate findings, and participate in staff orientation and required education. Must hold ARRT Radiography and ARRT CT certifications, have 1 year radiology experience (CT preferred), and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and patient-care skills; BLS, infection control, and commitment to quality control are required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology - Required
- Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology - Required
- ARRT Radiography - Required
- ARRT Computed Tomography - Required
- BLS - Required
