CT Technologist

Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, operating imaging/radiographic equipment to capture quality diagnostic images while maintaining ALARA. Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two unique patient identifiers; explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety. Administer contrast per protocol using venipuncture and sterile technique; position patients and apply shielding as indicated; monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies. Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; document promptly and ensure proper transfers/retrievals. Maintain room and equipment cleanliness per infection control schedules, restock and ready life‐support equipment, and collaborate with other technologists to support department workflow. Ensure patient safety, privacy, and age-appropriate care throughout the visit, joining Wellstar Douglasville Medical Center in a role that supports career growth and meaningful patient impact.
