CT Technologist

Job Summary
Perform CT procedures per department guidelines; operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality while minimizing dose (ALARA); obtain clinical history and verify patient identifiers; explain procedures and prep to reduce patient anxiety; ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; administer contrast per protocol using venipuncture and sterile technique; position patients and apply markers/shielding; review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with equipment maintenance and restocking; organize daily workflows and collaborate with technologists to support department operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
- ARRT-R (Radiography)
- ARRT-CT - ARRT Computed Tomography
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association
