Job Summary
Perform CT procedures at Wellstar Douglasville Medical Center, delivering safe, high‐quality diagnostic imaging and supporting a positive patient experience. Accurately capture images per department guidelines, operate radiographic equipment safely while maintaining ALARA, obtain clinical history and two unique patient identifiers before exams, and communicate clearly using AIDET. Prepare and post-care instructions, ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety, administer contrast per protocol (venipuncture when applicable), position patients correctly, review images for diagnostic quality, and finalize studies in RIS/PACS. Maintain infection control, keep areas orderly, assist with workflow and equipment readiness, monitor for emergencies, and escalate issues to supervision as needed. Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
- ARRT-R (Radiography)
- ARRT-CT - ARRT Computed Tomography
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association
