CT Technologist - Weekend Nights

CT Technologist delivers safe, high-quality imaging and supportive patient experience in a hospital setting. Performs CT procedures according to department guidelines, operates imaging equipment safely, applies ALARA principles, maintains infection control, verifies patient identity and orders, explains procedures, ensures patient comfort and safety, administers contrast per protocol using sterile technique, positions patients, reviews images for diagnostic quality, completes accurate documentation in RIS/PACS, monitors patient condition, responds to emergencies, restocks and maintains equipment, and supports department workflow and compliance. The role collaborates with technologists/modalities and participates in daily operations, with a focus on patient-centered care and adherence to regulatory requirements in the Wellstar Douglasville Medical Center.
