Job Summary
CT Technologist conducts CT procedures using CT equipment to acquire and analyze diagnostic data; responsibilities include patient identification and safety, performing scans per protocols, administering oral and IV contrast, managing image transfer via PACS/EMR/EPIC, maintaining documentation and a clean work environment, and precepting new employees and students. Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program, ARRT/NMTCB certification, and ongoing competency in BLS; schedule includes night shift (9:00 pm–5:00 am) with onsite work in Raleigh, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or certified with the NMTCB (CT) or registry eligible; must become registered within two years of employment and maintain continuing education requirements annually
- All imaging specialists are required to maintain current competency in HCP BLS
