Job Summary
Conduct CT scan procedures including patient preparation, positioning, and administration of oral and IV contrast. Perform complex specialized tasks such as interventional studies like biopsies and spinal injections while ensuring radiation safety and patient comfort. Evaluate and reformat CT images for diagnostic review, charge procedures in the RIS system, and maintain accurate patient records and contrast reaction documentation. Transport patients as needed and stock and clean scanner rooms. Work nights from 7p-7a on Fridays, Mondays, and Tuesdays for 30 hours.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiology
- RTR licensure in Commonwealth Massachusetts
- CT modality Sub-specialty certification within 1 year of employment
- BLS certification
- Maintaining all area specific CEUs for ARRT, DPH according to regulation
