Job Summary
Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of UCHealth. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and physician orders, scheduling, educating patients about procedures and equipment, preparing and administering contrast media within scope, monitoring patient condition, ensuring safety and performing quality control on equipment, troubleshooting and reporting equipment malfunctions, positioning patients for imaging, analyzing results and addressing image quality issues, and performing optional 3-D post-processing. Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, ARRT CT registry or registry-eligible status, state licensure if required, and BLS/CPR certification; may require timely completion of CT registry within 12 months. On-site role with no remote or hybrid option. Days shift, full-time, 72 hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, or registry eligible with completion of registry in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date (valid through sixty days after hire)
