Job Summary
Perform CT procedures under the direction of a radiologist and CT supervisor, executing a variety of CT procedures with independent judgment and initiative to render prescribed CT imaging. Work within a radiology team at UAB Medicine, including inpatient and outpatient imaging across multiple campus locations, utilizing advanced equipment such as the O-arm surgical imaging system and intraoperative CT/fMRI. Eligible to work weekend Baylor shifts, AM/PM 3-12 hour shifts, and PRN flex schedules within a Level I trauma center setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology required
- Currently registered as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) (R) with ARRT
- Candidate will have one year from hire date to become registered in Computed Tomography (CT) from ARRT
- Or certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) by the ARRT or NMTCB required
