Job Summary
CT Technologist Traveler Team performs CT imaging examinations under physician direction, floats to other regional facilities for 8–13 week assignments across Utah and Idaho, and works under the supervision of the local imaging coordinator with oversight from Imaging Services leadership. The role supports system-wide imaging initiatives, adheres to ALARA and radiation safety protocols, may take call, and requires comfort working across multiple units within the CT specialty. Eligible candidates demonstrate high-level clinical CT skills in ER/trauma/high acuity cases, ensure patient identification and order verification, administer oral/IV contrast as ordered, understand cross-sectional anatomy and CT equipment, and maintain quality images within department protocols.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Radiography Certification/Registration (ARRT)(RT)(R)
- Relevant State licensure (where required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- 1+ years CT experience in a hospital at a high-level trauma center
- IV Certification preferred
- ARRT CT Certification/Registration (preferred)
