Job Summary
Join as a CT Technologist Trainee, performing quality computed tomography procedures under supervision to support diagnosis and treatment. Key responsibilities include assisting in patient care, teaching, and research within a dynamic CT department. Required qualifications are completion of an accredited Radiology program, ARRT certification, Nebraska Medical Radiographer License, and BLS certification. Preferred skills include patient management and knowledge of medical imaging systems.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in radiography (R)
- State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon completion of department orientation
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to manage patients in a hospital situation
- Ability to manage and interact with patients and families of all age groups
- Proficient knowledge of multi-dimensional medical imaging systems, patient transportation devices, and Radiology Information System
