Job Summary
CT Technologist role performing routine and specialized computed tomography procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention. Works independently with sound judgment and develops clinical skills to deliver accurate results in a timely manner, while maintaining patient privacy and safety. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers; may orient other staff to the department. Requires graduation from a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and certification as CRT, plus BLS; fluoroscopy credentialing within 180 days if required. Role emphasizes adherence to local/state/federal regulations, strong organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a team in an evenings, full-time schedule. Skills include CT principles, RIS/LIS/EHR/PACS systems, and ability to prioritize tasks in a high-demand hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (in the state where work is performed)
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate
