Job Summary
Performs CT imaging and related modalities (CT, Digital Radiography, and C-arm) to produce diagnostic-quality images. Responsibilities include verifying patient history and safety, guiding patients through procedures, entering data into the EHR, producing images for radiologist interpretation, documenting notes in PACS, and supporting intraoperative imaging as a C-arm fluoro technologist. Participates in call and holiday rotations, upholds confidentiality, and adheres to hospital guidelines and safety protocols; environment covers radiology departments including the MRI Suite and potential exposure to regulatory immunization requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology.
- Certification, Licensure: Current CPR certification; registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, R.T. (R) (CT)
- Experience, Training, Knowledge: Minimum of one (1) year of experience as technologist in a surgical or hospital setting with a strong working knowledge of Radiography and CT. C-Arm experience a plus.
