Job Summary
Prepare patients for CT procedures, obtain optimum quality scans with appropriate measurements, and monitor intravenous contrast injections using the CT injector. Discuss the process with patients, secure consent forms, and provide pertinent information to radiologists to support the plan of care. Maintain cleanliness of the department, manage item stock, and assist with quality control, documentation, and statistical data compilation. Adhere to radiation protection regulations, universal precautions, and the Corporate Compliance Program while participating in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Maintain current CPR certification, CME requirements, and technical certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine
- Certified
- Current state license
- Current CPR certification
- CME requirements
- Technical certification
- Pre-employment drug test passed
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' experience in CT technology
