Job Summary
The CT Technologist Specialist is responsible for performing all aspects of CT scanning, including patient positioning, scanning protocols, and image quality review while ensuring patient safety. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining CT equipment, assisting with training and mentoring technologists and students, ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic health record, and communicating effectively with healthcare team members for timely results. Candidates must possess an Oregon Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT registration in CT (or be eligible), and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Required Qualifications
- Oregon Radiologic Technologist license
- ARRT registration in CT or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 2 months of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
