Job Summary

Perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with departmental protocols, physician orders, and safety standards. Obtain and document relevant patient history, prepare patients for procedures, and administer oral and IV contrast as appropriate. Verify patient identity and physician orders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional patient experience. Monitor patients throughout examinations, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately to emergencies, including CPR and first aid. Provide radiation protection for patients, staff, and self in accordance with established guidelines and best practices. Safely position, transfer, and assist patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers, and CT imaging equipment. Assist radiologists with CT-guided interventional procedures, including biopsies and other specialized exams. Review pertinent laboratory results within EPIC to support safe and efficient exam completion. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively using EPIC, PACS, and other hospital systems. Perform routine equipment quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate service needs to ensure operational readiness. Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused environment through proper equipment disinfection and supply management. Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism. Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support outstanding patient outcomes. Support the onboarding and development of new staff and students through mentorship and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • CT Certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Saturday & Sunday: 16-hour shifts
  • Monday - Thursday: 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM
