Job Summary
Perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures independently, positioning patients and analyzing results to identify and resolve image quality issues. Review patient history and physician orders, educating patients on procedures to ensure cooperation. When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media while monitoring patient condition and reporting status changes. Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, and implement safety standards and quality control procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions as necessary. Requires ARRT registration in radiography or NMTCB registration, with CT certification required within 18 months. Sign-on bonus of $30,000 available with a 3-year commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Associate's degree; or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ARRT Registered (RT) in radiography (R) or NMTCB registered (CNMT) is required at time of hire
- Computed Tomography (CT) certified OR NMTCB registered (CT) certification
- CT certification is not required if not already held; however, existing CT certifications must be maintained
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
