Produce high-quality CT and radiology images by adjusting equipment, positioning patients, and applying appropriate protocols to minimize dose while adhering to ALARA principles. Gather patient history, obtain additional images for questionable cases, and maintain a clean, organized scan room. Report equipment issues, answer phones for scheduling, and assist with quality assurance data collection. Track repeat and reject images for quarterly analysis, maintain supplies, and wear radiation monitoring devices at all times. Ensure strict confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines and observe universal precautions. Maintain state and AART licenses, ARRT certification, and advanced certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
