Job Summary
Perform diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans and produce quality exam images using professional judgment. Provide patient care and initiate life support measures as necessary while interacting effectively with patients, physicians, and staff. Operate CT equipment, learn new technology, and obtain patient information to improve personalized treatment. On a continuum, develop an understanding of the patient's physical and emotional status across all age groups. Sanford Rural Network Facilities may expand responsibilities to include on-call rotation nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures. Full-time 40-hour schedule with a sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school or Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JCERT) accredited program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NDMIRT) Board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and I.V. certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Computerized Tomography (CT) training or experience
- CT certification obtained within two years
