Job Summary
Prepare patients for CT scans by analyzing their physical condition and age-specific needs, then administer contrast dye while ensuring radiation safety and room stock levels. Assist radiologists in procedures, mark images with time and body position, and explain steps to keep patients informed and comfortable during examinations. Properly use the Radiology Information System to complete cases, observe equipment for malfunctions, and clean rooms before and after each patient. This night shift role at RWJBarnabas Health requires a registered CT Technologist with NJ licensure and previous CT experience to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging under board-certified supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- CT Certification
- NJ License required
- Previous CT experience required
- Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider through American Heart Association
