Job Summary
Provide patient services using diagnostic CT scan equipment to produce quality images for physician diagnosis and treatment. Assist radiologists with special examinations while demonstrating competency with RIS and PACS systems. Maintain clean examination rooms, ensure proper maintenance of CR cassettes, and monitor stock levels in procedure rooms. Perform daily calibration and quality assurance checks, report equipment problems with an LT work order, and utilize RadCode for interventional billing. Apply principles of radiation protection and proper positioning to assure diagnostic image quality. Work evening shifts as a part-time position at MMC Southern Campus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- NJ Radiology license
- ARRT Certification
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Previous CT experience
