Job Summary
Position patients and administer contrast agents for CT scans per standard operating procedures, ensuring proper radiation protection and sterile techniques. Manage patient scheduling, flow, and preparation while documenting studies in RIS and HIS and tracking cases in PACS. Maintain equipment logs, troubleshoot issues, and restock supplies to support emergency services. Assist physicians during examinations, instruct student technologists, and attend required in-service training. Work full-time nights from 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. across Morris Cancer Center, University Hospital, and Plum St. Imaging Center.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiography Education
- ARRT or CRT
- State of New Jersey License
- Full-Time Nights, 830p-7a
- Responsibilities at University Hospital and Plum St. Imaging Center on the New Brunswick Campus
Desired Qualifications
- Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
