Job Summary
Prepare patients, administer contrast dye, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring radiation safety and room stock levels. Analyze patient conditions and age-specific needs to select proper techniques, mark images with time and position, and explain procedures to keep patients informed. Assist radiologists in performing procedures, observe equipment for malfunctions, and properly clean rooms before and after examinations. Utilize the Radiology Information System to complete cases while maintaining patient comfort and mental well-being throughout the night shift.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- CT Certification
- NJ License
- Previous CT experience
- Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider through American Heart Association
