Job Summary
Position patients for CT scans per standard operating procedures, administer cleansing preps and contrast agents under radiologist direction, and ensure proper radiation protection. Troubleshoot equipment, maintain logs, and restock supplies while performing quality control on examinations. Enter studies into RIS and HIS, split studies in PACS, and complete all necessary documentation. Assist physicians with examinations, instruct student technologists, and attend required in-service training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiography Education
- ARRT or CRT
- State of New Jersey License
- Full-Time Nights, 830p-7a
- Responsibilities at University Hospital and Plum St. Imaging Center on the New Brunswick Campus
Desired Qualifications
- Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
