Job Summary
Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with UCHealth policies. Reviews patient history and physician orders, educates patients about procedures, and ensures cooperation. Administers contrast media and/or medications within scope, monitors patient condition, and reports changes. Prepares equipment, selects exposure factors and imaging parameters, and performs safety procedures and quality control; troubleshoots equipment as needed. Positions patients and conducts imaging procedures; analyzes results and addresses image-quality issues, including repositioning if necessary. May perform 3-D post processing. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Night shift; onsite role with no hybrid/remote option.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in CT by ARRT
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
