CT Technologist - Radiology

Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and physician orders, performing scheduling, educating patients about procedures, administering contrast media within scope, monitoring patient condition, preparing equipment and supplies, selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters, implementing safety standards, performing quality control, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, positioning patients, performing imaging procedures, analyzing results, resolving image quality issues, and entering/reporting scan results. May perform 3-D post processing. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and be ARRT-registered (or registry eligible with completion within 12 months in CT), with state licensure as required. BLS/CPR certification required through start date.
