Job Summary

Conduct computed tomography imaging and diagnostic procedures while reviewing patient history, physician orders, and scheduling. Educate patients on exam procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation, and prepare or administer contrast media and medications when ordered. Monitor patient condition continually, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and perform quality control procedures on imaging systems. Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, and repeat procedures as necessary to resolve image quality problems. Enter and transmit scan results to the appropriate departments.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
  • Registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State licensure if required by law
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
  • BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
  • Must be available for Nights shift
  • Full Time employment
