Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures using established protocols to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Select correct exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields while assessing patient age and diagnosis to produce accurate cross-sectional images. Participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting Radiologists or Physician Assistants with proper sterile technique. Maintain licensure from the Connecticut Department of Public Health and obtain ARRT CT Advanced certification within 12 months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date
