CT Technologist - Radiology

Job Summary
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols to assist referring physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Select correct exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields while utilizing patient age and diagnosis assessments to produce technically accurate cross-sectional images. Participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting radiologists or physician assistants using proper sterile technique. Obtain licensure from the Connecticut Department of Public Health and achieve CT Advanced certification by ARRT within 12 months of hire. Join St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport as part of a 473-bed community teaching hospital offering tuition reimbursement, on-the-job training, and modality cross-training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date
- Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
