CT Technologist - Radiology

Job Summary
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols to assist referring physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Select correct exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields while assessing patient age and diagnosis to produce technically accurate cross-sectional images. Participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile technique. Maintain licensure from the Connecticut Department of Public Health and obtain CT Advanced certification by ARRT within 12 months of job entry. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date
- Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
