Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Select correct exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields while utilizing patient age and diagnosis to produce technically accurate cross-sectional images. Participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile technique. Shifts include 32 hours on the 2nd shift, every 3rd weekend, and rotating holidays. Connecticut state Radiographer license and CT Advanced certification by ARRT within 12 months of hire are required. New hires are eligible for a $10,000 bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
- Connecticut state Radiographer license
- CT Advanced certification by ARRT within 12 months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Working knowledge of CT Technology and venipuncture
Desired Qualifications
- At least one (1) year experience as a CT Technologist
- 6 months experience in Radiology hospital setting
