Job Summary
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Select correct exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields while utilizing patient assessment to produce technically accurate cross-sectional images. Participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile technique. Requires Connecticut state Radiographer license, CT Advanced certification by ARRT within 12 months, and Basic Life Support. At least one year of CT Technologist experience is preferred. First shift, every 3rd weekend, and rotating holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
- Connecticut state Radiographer license
- CT Advanced certification by ARRT within 12 months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Working knowledge of CT Technology and venipuncture
Desired Qualifications
- At least one (1) year experience as a CT Technologist
- 6 months experience in Radiology hospital setting
