Job Summary
CT Technologist position in Radiology at Blount Memorial Hospital (Maryville, TN). Performs CT procedures with independent judgment, including contrast administration (oral and IV), patient transport, and RIS/PACS workflow management. Requires radiologic training completion, ARRT CT eligibility, CPR, and at least one year as a radiologic technologist with CT experience; demonstrated ability to start IVs, administer contrast, and collaborate with physicians to ensure correct exam protocols. PRN/part-time role with variability in shift. Strong patient communication, adherence to infection control, and proficiency with RIS/PACS systems are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Education - completion of formal Radiologic training
- Experience - one year as an RT
- Three months additional experience in CT imaging techniques
- Must meet requirements for registry by AART
- Must be eligible for CT Certification by ARRT
- CPR
