CT Technologist/Rad Tech (PRN/Nights)

Job Summary
Operate and maintain imaging equipment including CT scanners, X-Rays, CR readers, and PACS systems while performing all exams per established protocols. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to physicians, nurses, and staff throughout the facility. Perform basic clinical procedures, collect laboratory samples, and conduct quality control, proficiency testing, and split sample analysis. Maintain documentation, logs, and records for a minimum of two years, ensuring all activities comply with COLA and CLIA regulations. Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment. This position involves night shift coverage (7P-7A) at an 18-bed small-format hospital in Brentwood, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- 1+ years of CT experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Position requires fluency in English, written and oral communication
- Night/Weekend shift differentials
- Travel to all facility locations as required
- Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiology
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
- CT certification (Las Vegas Market)
- CT certification within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
