Job Summary
Performs CT procedures in a variety of settings on patients as ordered by licensed providers, adhering to hospital and departmental policy and NYS guidelines; assists in all aspects of Radiology Department operations; requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to think and act quickly in stressful situations, and professional conduct with patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the New York State Department of Health
- Registered by ARRT (Radiographer)
- Must obtain ARRT (CT) credentials within two years
- New York State Department of Health certified to inject IV contrast within two months of orientation
- BLS certified (or obtained within 3 months)
- Will be responsible for on-call in CT per union contract
