Job Summary
Conduct CT scans by positioning patients, administering contrast agents, and ensuring radiation safety under radiologist direction. Perform patient preparation, schedule exams, and manage room supplies while maintaining equipment logs. Enter studies into RIS and PACS systems, complete documentation, and assist student technologists. Rotate night shifts covering weekends and on-call duties. Submit procedures for interpretation and attend required in-service training.
Required Qualifications
- Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist
- State of New Jersey License
- ARRT
- CT certification
- CPR certification
- Night shift
- 16 hours/week
- Part-Time Schedule
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to obtain CT certification within 12-24 months of hire
- Ability to obtain CPR certification within six months of hire
- Ability to rotate shifts covering weekends
- Ability to work on-call

- Ability to enter studies in RIS and HIS

- Ability to split and fix studies in PACS
- Ability to perform a variety of related clerical tasks
- Ability to cooperate with all hospital personnel
- Ability to maintain a positive and loyal attitude towards employer
- Ability to attend in-service training
- Ability to attend educational in-services
